Your Groves Public Library card gives you access to Piney Woods digital consortium. Tell a librarian that you want access to e-books and we will enter your library card into our database.
Step 2: Already have a library card with us? Call (409)962-6281 or text (409)203-6642 the library and let us know that you want access to e-books.

What's the difference between Libby and OverDrive?

Libby is the updated version of OverDrive! When you access Libby you have access to OverDrive. They are one in the same.
Does my checking out e-books harm the library?
NO! Checking out e-books does not harm the library. E-books that our patrons use are counted in our system as material use. Actually, your e-book checkouts HELP the library! Groves Public Library is affiliated with the Texas State Library Archives and Commission. To meet our maintenance of effort (MOE) we have to meet a certain amount of physical and digital checkouts! YOU are helping us stay accredited!

Possible reasons why you are having trouble with your Libby account...
- If your library account is expired
- If your library account is BLOCKED for overdues or late fees
- If we have not entered your library card # into our e-books database
- If you got a new library card and the new card was not entered into our e-books database
