Volunteer

The library is a living institution. It takes many hands to keep it organized, clean, functioning and vital to the community. Our volunteers are priceless!

We love our volunteers, without them--where would we be?

The Groves Public Library Volunteer Group is made of civic minded individuals who think the a community library is the City's greatest asset.

Whatever you like to do, you can be of service to the library. Below are a few of the ways you can help.
Water library plants (gardening-some inside and some outside) Share my interests with adult learners
Dust or clean library shelves (we won't ask you to climb a ladder) Share my interests with teens
Organize, cull through book donations Keep library parking lot clean (we have the tools)
Help at the circulation desk--(we will teach you how to do this) Help with book sale (it is twice a year)
Read to the children at story time
(we have story time during the summer)
Help with Cuddlebugs (cutting, coloring, aiding children with crafts)
Arts and Crafts.

Have something in mind but don't see it listed?---that's okay---we'll discuss!
